Infrared Mode:
Always On: Infrared lights remain on, maintaining a monochrome image, suitable for scenarios requiring infrared illumination around the clock.
Always Off: Infrared lights stay off, keeping a color image, suitable for well-lit environments without the need for infrared fill light.
Auto: Automatically switches based on ambient light. Infrared lights turn on when light is insufficient (image turns monochrome) and off when light is adequate (image returns to color).
Night Vision Settings:
Full-color Mode: Automatically activates white lights at night to maintain a color image.
Black & White Mode: Automatically activates infrared lights at night, producing a black-and-white image.
Smart Mode: By default, activates infrared lights at night (black-and-white image). When an alarm is triggered, it automatically switches to white lights, turning the image to color.
Off Mode: Both infrared and white lights remain off, keeping a color image. Suitable for well-lit environments that do not require supplemental lighting.
Question1: It is already daytime, why are the camera's infrared/white lights still on?
Answer: ① Check if the infrared night vision setting is set to "Always On". If so, you can adjust it to "Auto" or "Always Off".
② Check if there are any obstructions in front of the camera lens. If there are, please reposition the camera towards an open and well-lit direction.
Question2: Why does the camera's white light stay constantly on at night?
Answer: ① Check if the Night Vision Mode is set to "Full-color Mode". If so, you can adjust it to "Black & White Mode" or "Smart Mode".
② If the Night Vision Mode is already set to "Smart Mode", please check whether human, vehicle, or non-motor vehicle detection has been triggered in the scene. When an alarm is triggered, the white light will turn on. If you do not need this function, you can disable the corresponding detection option or switch to "Black & White Mode".
Question3: Why does the camera's white light flash frequently at night?
Answer: This phenomenon is caused by the triggering of human detection, vehicle detection, or non-motor vehicle detection in "Smart Mode". To avoid it, you can set the Night Vision Mode to "Black & White Mode" (infrared lights remain on, black-and-white image) or "Full-color Mode" (white lights remain on, color image).
