Portable Wi-Fi devices may overheat under specific conditions. To ensure device safety and normal operation, the device is equipped with a dedicated overheat protection function. When the device temperature is too high, it will automatically stop charging to protect itself, preventing malfunctions or safety hazards caused by overheating.

1. How to avoid overheating of Tenda portable Wi-Fi?

  • Avoid using the device while charging to reduce heat buildup from dual loads.
  • Place the device on a well-ventilated hard surface (such as a desktop or tile). Never put it on soft fabrics like sofas, quilts, or beds, nor on sunny windowsills or enclosed car interiors.

2. What to do if Tenda portable Wi-Fi stops charging due to overheating?

Disconnect all connected terminal devices, unplug the device from the charger, and move it to a cool, well-ventilated area (such as a desktop or windowsill). Let the device stand and cool down for 15-30 minutes before charging it normally.
