Router Unable to Access the Internet

Possible Causes

- SIM card not properly inserted or damaged: Remove the SIM card, check for stains or damage on the chip, and reinsert it firmly.

- Network coverage issues: The area may have no 4G/5G network coverage or extremely weak signals. Check the signal strength at the same location using a mobile phone for reference.

- Incorrect router settings: Such as improperly configured internet parameters or incomplete initial setup.

- Service suspension due to unpaid bills: Contact your carrier's customer service to confirm if the SIM card plan has overdue payments.

Solutions

- Reinsert the SIM card: If the SIM card is dirty, gently wipe the chip with a clean eraser before reinserting it.

- Reposition the router: Try moving the router to a location with better signal reception, such as near a window or at a higher elevation.

- Check settings: Log in to the router's admin page (the address, username, and password are usually found in the manual or on the label at the bottom of the router). Verify that the internet settings are correct, and refer to the manual to reconfigure the initial setup if necessary.

- Pay overdue bills: If the issue is due to unpaid bills, make the payment promptly and restart the router.
