What are the methods and precautions for Mesh pairing between different Tenda models?

1. Important Notice: MX series cannot pair with MW series.
2. Preparation:
   • Reset the new node to factory default.
   • Place the new node within 3 meters of the main network node.
   • Ensure the main node is online and working properly.
3. Pairing Methods
   • Method 1: Mesh button pairing (Recommended)
     1. Power on the new node, wait for the LED to blink green slowly.
     2. Press its MESH button for 1–3 seconds → LED blinks green fast.
     3. Within 2 minutes, press the MESH button on the main node for 1–3 seconds.
     4. Wait 2–3 minutes. The new LED turns solid green → pairing successful.
   • Method 2: Wired backhaul pairing

     Connect a LAN port of the main node to a LAN/WAN port of the new node. The new node will pair automatically. Solid green means success.
   • Method 3: APP pairing

     Connect to the main Wi-Fi → Open Tenda WiFi APP → Add device → Scan and join the network.
4. Key Notes
   1. After pairing, all nodes share the same Wi-Fi name and password.
   2. Keep nodes away from interference (microwave, refrigerator, etc.).
   3. Max 9 nodes per network; recommend up to 6 for stability.
   4. If pairing fails, reset both nodes and try again.
