Q: The app shows that the camera cannot read the SD card or the SD card is not inserted.

A: Please try the following steps:

  1. Please use a computer or mobile phone to read the SD card. If the computer or mobile phone prompts that it cannot be read or the video file cannot be opened normally, the SD card may be damaged.
  2. If the computer or mobile phone can read the SD card normally and play the video, the camera's card slot may be damaged. If it is still within the warranty period, it is recommended to return it.

 

Q: The camera can read the SD card, but it prompts that the formatting failed.

A: Please reopen the formatting interface or re-insert the SD card and try formatting again. A poor network connection can also cause formatting failure. If the formatting still fails, it may be that the SD card has bad particles. You need to replace the SD card.

 

Q: The SD card has been formatted on TDSEE, but after using it for a while, it prompts an SD card error.

A: This may be caused by bad particles or bad sectors in the SD card. Continuing to use it will cause the risk of losing the video. If there are important video files in the SD card, please back them up in time.

You can format the SD card in TDSEE and then observe whether the fault will recur. If the problem recurs, please replace the SD card as soon as possible.

 

Q: The video file in the SD card has a distorted screen or freezes.

A: 1. Use the APP to play the video from the beginning, and repeat this step two or three times. If the time points of the distorted screen or freeze are inconsistent, this may be caused by network fluctuations. It is recommended to optimize the network environment.

2. Copy the video file to the computer and use VLC or PotPlayer to play it, and repeat this step 2 or 3 times. If the distorted screen appears at the same time, it may be that there are bad particles in the SD card, causing the video file to be unable to record continuously.

3. If the camera has an available firmware update, you can update the firmware and then observe whether the video has a short distorted screen or freezes.

 

Q: Unable to watch the SD card's video in TDSEE

A: 1. If the timeline appears on the playback interface, but NO video appears, this may be caused by poor network. It is recommended to restart the camera, network or try to enter the video page multiple times.

2. Play videos on the computer (using VLC or potplayer). If it cannot be played, there may be a problem with the SD card.

3. If you enter the playback interface from the message page and this problem occurs (tips: if you have enabled cloud storage, the APP will give priority to playing the alarm video stored in the cloud storage), Please go to Homepage -> camera -> Playback and find the start position of the alarm video and play it. Follow the above two steps to troubleshoot the problem.
